Gurpurab is celebrated to honor the birth anniversary of Guru Gobind Singh Ji, the 10th and last human Guru of Sikhism. He was a great spiritual leader, warrior, poet, and teacher who shaped Sikh identity and values. Dashmesh Patshah Guru Gobind Singh Ji was born in 1666 at Patna Sahib. He played an instrumental role in establishingK lsa Panth in 1699. The Guru Patshah Prakash Purab will be celebrated on 5th January 2026 across the nation.
