The NBA fans are giving their contributions in votes which are approximately 50%, the players and media’s contribution is 25%-25% each so the officials can easily reach the decisions. All the votes are counted according to the rank which were put in the three voting groups. On the other hand, every player’s score was also counted by the average of weighted rank from the fan votes, the player votes and media votes.
NBA All Star Voting Results 2026
The officials have calculated each player’s score which is based on 50% for fan vote, 25% for players vote and 25% of the media vote. This formula of the calculating player’s score is Fan Rank *2 + Player Rank + Media Rank/4. The five players of each group are called starters and if some players get the same scores it will be a tiebreaker. San Antonio Spurs Victor Wembanyama and Minnesota Timberwolves’ Anthony Edwards get the tie breaker.

The NBA has announced that they received approximately 386 total of ballots from players. The 386 voting players are nominated by the officials, one ballot, 364 different players are for All Star in this season.
