Jeddah (Agencies): City Walk, a key highlight of Jeddah Season, officially reopened on Wednesday, unveiling a host of new attractions for visitors to enjoy. Running until June 14, this year’s event offers seven themed zones spread across 281,000 sq. m., ensuring a unique experience for families and thrill-seekers alike.
The themed sections include Wonder Wall, Tomorrow Land, Fantasy Land, Cairo Nights, Black Forest, Adventure Land, and The Garden, each packed with games, rides, and interactive activities.
Visitors have praised the affordability and reduced wait times compared to previous years. Salma Al-Harbi, a visitor from Makkah, shared her excitement, saying, “This year truly stands out! My kids especially loved Luca Land, where they got to play with different dog breeds. The horror zone was definitely the highlight for our family.”
For younger visitors, Joy Plex offers engaging activities with beloved cartoon characters like Shaun the Sheep, Masha and the Bear, and Bluey, while Joy Plex-X expands on the fun with events such as the Slime Festival, Stumble Guys, and Jelly Zone.
Beyond entertainment, the 2025 edition includes educational and creative activities such as Splash Studio, where guests can paint on walls, and Navigation Land, featuring archery, air rifle shooting, and remote-controlled vehicles. Nature lovers can explore the Birds & Reptiles Cave, which provides guided tours introducing exotic species.
The event also brings live theatrical performances, including A Thousand and One Nights, Pasha, and Broken World, offering attendees a dose of culture and storytelling.
With 77 retail outlets and 65 restaurants and cafes, visitors can enjoy a variety of shopping and dining experiences. Thai artisan Oat Chayanin has brought handmade cotton owl crafts to the event, highlighting growing interest in international cultural exchanges.
Project manager Mohammed Fahad revealed that horror-themed attractions are a major draw this year, with immersive experiences like Five Nights at Freddy’s: Security Breach, Music Hell, and Le Grand Hotel, which offers a suspense-filled haunted adventure.
As Jeddah Season continues, City Walk promises thrills, excitement, and immersive experiences for all ages, cementing its place as a premier entertainment hub in Saudi Arabia.
