Baghdad (Agencies): Iraq is attempting to repatriate hundreds of its soldiers from Pakistan, which has been experiencing a military escalation with India for days.

The Iraqi Prime Minister, Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani, directed the return of 500 Iraqi Special Forces (Golden Division) personnel currently in Pakistan for training under an agreement between the two countries.
The Iraqi government clarified that the decision was made out of concern for the protection of Iraqi security forces and in view of the current situation between India and Pakistan, Sky News Arabia reported.
