The National Aeronautics And Space Administrations has delayed their Artemis II moon launching due to the issues of fuel leaks during the rehearsals. The agencies revealed these details on Tuesday and they are now trying to launch this mission in the month of March 2026. The main issues are found in the enormous rockets during critical tests and the managers elaborated these launch days as the โ€œWet Dress Rehearsalโ€. This test ends in just 5 minutes and 15 seconds and the launch countdown is also left.ย

NASA Detects Fuel Leak Ahead of Artemis II Launch

NASA has released this news at 2 AM on Tuesday and Februaryโ€™s launch window is open for this Artemis II launch. The mission managers introduced these details through the Kennedy Space Centres in Florida when the engineers detected the issues of leaking Hydrogens at the bottom of the rocket. NASA has ended the test after midnight ET with around 5 minutes and 15 seconds so they were also announced that when the Artemis II fails in tests so the mission is accomplished in the month of March 2026.ย 

Artemis II mission is extended to the 11th February 2026 after the confirmations of the NASA team but they are confirmed the month of March 2026 for launching the Artemis II rockets. NASA will launch the Artemis II mission on the dates of March 6th to March 9th or March 11th 2026. NASA is focused on resolving this issue which is seen at the launch day and the details of the mission is released through the mission managers.ย

On the day of rehearsals, the Artemis II is filled with more than 700,000 gallons of cryogenic propellant. The issues have been shown at the time of fueling process at around 12:30 PM ET on Monday and the mission managers paused the process immediately to investigate the leaking Hydrogen fuels by the tail end of the rocket. The technicians have been trying to resolve these issues of the Orion Spacecraft which stops the rocket from the fuel leakings. NASA has redesigned the rockets for resolving these issues.ย 

The engineers have also investigated the technical audio issues through the communication channels that issue is also aroused during the wet dress rehearsals. The four astronauts who are flying through the Artemis II mission are Reid Wiseman, Christina Koach, victor glover and jeremy hanson are quarantined from the 21st january 2026. NASA has released the details that they will not release them from the quarantine before the second mission launched. The interested parties can wait for the upcoming Artemis II Launches.ย
