Islamabad (Staff Report): Parliamentary delegation from Kenyan Parliament led by Farah Mali Mohamed Ahmed, MP, Chairperson of Committees called Speaker Raja Pervez Ashraf, at Parliament.
The speaker warmly extended a warm welcome to the Kenyan delegation and expressed his gratitude for their presence in Pakistan to attend the International Constitutional Convention being held to commemorate the 50 years of the Constitution 1973 of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
While appreciating peaceful co-existence among diverse ethnic groups in Kenya, Speaker Raja Pervez Ashraf remarked that love not hatred is the answer to those who try to create fissures and incite violence in society. He added, “We believe in the policy of live and let others live.”
The parliamentary delegation also appreciated the performance of NADRA as it has become the backbone of technological development in Kenya.
