Peshawar – Chitral (Agencies): The Aga Khan Rural Support Programme (AKRSP), in partnership with the UK International Development and with financial support from the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO), has announced a Skills Development Training Program for candidates from Lower and Upper Chitral. The initiative aims to equip local communities with the skills needed to adapt to climate-related challenges.

  • Eligibility Criteria:

Applicants must be domiciled in Lower or Upper Chitral and reside in one of the following union councils: Drosh-I, Shishikoh, Ayun, Danin, Chitral-I, Chitral-II, Shoghore, Koh, Charun, Mastuj, Laspur, or Yarkhun. Candidates must possess a valid CNIC and be 40 years of age or younger as of the application deadline.

Women and persons with disabilities (PWDs) are strongly encouraged to apply.

  • Application Deadline: March 23, 2025

This initiative is part of AKRSP’s efforts to enhance local resilience and economic opportunities through skill-based training.
