Peshawar: The provincial vice president of All Pakistan Universities BPS Teachers Association (APUBTA) KPK Chapter, Dr. Jawad Khan and other cabinet members, Dr. Zafar Hayat and Dr. Badsha Islam visited the University of Peshawar and University of Engineering and Technology Mardan.


They were warmly welcomed by various senior faculty members, who then arranged meetings with other BPS faculty members at both universities.
During the meeting, the Vice President briefed the faculty members about the cause and objectives of APUBTA. They discussed various issues related to the promotion and welfare of the faculty members, as well as the challenges they face in their career. Other senior faculty members, introduced the dynamics of the university and shared some of the challenges they face.
It was decided during the meeting that the BPS faculty shall fully support APUBTA activities for achieving the legitimate fundamental rights of promotion and shall stop the discriminatory policies of HEC not to play more with the careers of highly qualified teachers of esteemed institutions. Additionally, the participants agreed to mobilize other faculty towards the cause of their legitimate rights.
