Islamabad, 13 June 2025 (Khyber Mail) – A high-level academic delegation from Bangladesh, consisting of vice chancellors and senior officials from leading public and private universities, is set to visit Pakistan from June 16 to 21, 2025. The visit, facilitated by the High Commission for the People’s Republic of Bangladesh in Islamabad, is being organized at the invitation of the OIC Ministerial Standing Committee on Scientific and Technological Cooperation (COMSTECH).
The main goal of the visit is to explore new avenues for academic collaboration and institutional partnerships in higher education, science, and technology. The Bangladeshi delegation will engage in high-level meetings, discussions, and interactive sessions with top Pakistani universities in Lahore and Islamabad.
These Pakistani institutions are part of the COMSTECH Consortium of Excellence (CCoE), a premier network dedicated to advancing scientific cooperation and academic excellence among OIC member states.
This initiative underscores COMSTECH’s ongoing commitment to fostering stronger inter-university collaboration, further strengthening academic ties between Bangladesh and Pakistan, and contributing to the advancement of knowledge and research in the Muslim world.
