Peshawar (Khyber Mail): The Board of Directors of Bank of Khyber held their 195th meeting at the Bank’s Head Office in Peshawar to review and approve the financial results for the nine-month period ending September 30, 2024. The meeting was chaired by Mr. Ikramullah Khan, Additional Chief Secretary, Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, who also serves as the Chairman of the Board.

The Bank reported a remarkable profit before tax of Rs. 6.016 billion for the nine-month period, reflecting a 28% increase from the Rs. 4.682 billion recorded during the same period last year. Profit after tax for the period stood at Rs. 2.599 billion, compared to Rs. 2.473 billion for the same timeframe in the previous year. Total income for the Bank also saw a significant rise, reaching Rs. 13.347 billion, up from Rs. 11.146 billion during the corresponding period in 2023.

The Board expressed satisfaction with the Bank’s performance and approved the financial statements for the nine-month period. They emphasized the need for continued dedication and commitment from management in achieving the Bank’s goals and objectives. The CFO & Acting Managing Director attributed these positive results to the robust oversight by the Board of Directors and the sincere efforts and teamwork of the Bank’s employees and management. He extended his gratitude to all stakeholders for their continued support and patronage.
