The director of Syed Abdullah Shah Institute of Medical Sciences, Dr. Moinuddin Siddiqui gave a detailed briefing about the health facilities and suggested that the institute has all the facilities like a teaching hospital, so the institute should be given the status of a medical college.
Provincial Health Minister Dr. Azra Pechuho agreed and directed Director Dr. Moinuddin Siddiqui to prepare a detailed working paper for the establishment of a medical college and present it in the next meeting of the board so that after the approval of the cabinet, it will also be put in assembly for necessary legislation.
