SIALKOT, Sep 14 (APP): The construction work of a trauma center in Tehsil Headquarters (THQ) hospital Daska was underway with a cost of Rs 200 millions.
This was stated by Chief Executive Officer (CEO) District Health Authority (DHA) Sialkot Dr. Ahmed Nasir here on Wednesday.
He highlighted that the modern trauma center was being constructing on 5-kanal land consisting 15 beds and 3 operation theaters,adding that the center will provide immediate medical facilities including first aid, CT scan, X-ray, ultrasound, clinical laboratory, and blood bank.
He said the emergency services would facilitate the public in case of traffic accidents on Gujranwala-Sialkot Road and Sialkot-Lahore Motorway. Immediate medical assistance would help save a number of lives, he added.
CEO DHA Dr. Ahmed Nasir said that the building department has already submitted a written request to the Punjab government for the early release of Rs.50 million for the speedy completion of the project.
