Islamabad (Khyber Mail): U.S. Chargé d’Affaires a.i. Ms. Natalie Baker met with the Prime Minister of Pakistan during a courtesy call, where both sides emphasized strengthening bilateral ties, with a focus on counter-terrorism and economic collaboration.

During the meeting, the Prime Minister highlighted the long-standing cooperation between Pakistan and the United States and expressed Pakistan’s strong desire to work closely with the Trump Administration to deepen the partnership. He stressed the importance of enhancing trade and expanding collaboration across key sectors, including information technology, agriculture, health, education, and energy.

A major focus of the discussion was the continued cooperation on counter-terrorism efforts. The Prime Minister underscored the need for both countries to work together to address the threats posed by Daesh and Fitna Al Khawaraj (FAK), emphasizing the significance of maintaining a united front against extremist groups.

Ms. Baker expressed appreciation for the meeting and conveyed the U.S. Administration’s commitment to working with Pakistan to advance mutual interests. She reaffirmed that the United States remains dedicated to strengthening the bilateral relationship and pursuing shared objectives.
