PESHAWAR (Nadir Khan): Director General GDA Mr Wasif Saeed pay his first visit to Galiyat along with his administrative officers, during his visit he inspected the under constructed projects like five star hotel at Nathiagali, Ayubia chairlift , Khanispur cricket ground etc.
Director Administration GDA briefed him regarding the on-going projects and redressal of grievances of locals. Mr Ishtaiq Ahmed briefed the newly appointed DG on adventure sports in Church Park Nathiagali, Outsourcing of plaza park and renovation of Nathiagali Club, Moreover, he also explained the need of public rest rooms installed by Kite project for the tourists and responsibilities of different sections of GDA. During his visit Mr Wasif Saeed expressed satisfactions over the on-going projects of GDA, Director technical Zahid Kazmi briefed the Director General about handing taking of Abbottabad Murree road, sanitation and conservancy situation of the area. Mr Wasif Saeed inspected Garbage compactors , snow clearance machinery of GDA and condition of the parks in Galiyat.
On his first visit Director General GDA, emphasized on creation and development of new tourism sites, and promotion of tourism in Galiyat.
He directed the tourism section for conducting of various programmes on the pattern of previous events, he said GDA will have to play an active role to attract tourists from all over world to Galiyat
