MALAKAND: Sep 02: Activities for relief of the flood affectees are dispatched to various areas. The camp established by the vice-chancellor University of Malakand (UoM) Prof Dr Rashid Ahmed has dispatched about 10 vehicles worth more than 1.5 million ration and relief packages to upper Swat, Upper Dir, lower Dir, and to the affectees of Charsadda.

The Vice-Chancellor appreciated the hard work of the committee led by the Chairman, Department of Mathematics, Dr. Imtiaz Ahmad. The convener handed over a report of 5 days of hard work, donations, and package distribution. The members include Dr M Zahid, Dr Aziz Ahmad, M Jamil Abasi, Dr Hidayat Ullah, Dr Hamid Alam, Dr Murad, Dr Jawad, Dr M Usman, Dr shabir, Mr A Sohail, Mr Mubashir, Khurshid Alam, Mairaj Ul Hamid, Dr S Wadood, Dr M Nisar, Dr M Sarwar, Dr Aftab had a wonderful and untiring job.

The University Public School also contributed a lot in the leadership of the Principal Ms Basharat Shah, Ms Shakira, Ms Shandana, Ms Rukhshanda, Ms Shabana, Mr Nasrullah, Mr Shahyar, and many others like the transport incharge and Dy Director administration Naseem Khan sincerely helped to help the affectees on time at their door steps.
The Vice-Chancellor directed the committee now to concentrate on the second phase of rehabilitation of effectees and to arrange cash for helping the severe victims due to heavy rains and floods.
