Multan (Khyber Mail): Dr. Azhar Hussain, a Soil and Environmental Microbiologist and Associate Professor in the Department of Soil Science at the Islamia University of Bahawalpur, was invited as the National Keynote Speaker at the “International Conference on Recent Trends in Engineering and Applied Sciences” held at MNS University of Engineering and Technology, Multan, on February 10-11, 2025.

During the event, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Kamran, Vice Chancellor of MNS UET Multan, presented Dr. Azhar Hussain with a shield in recognition of his invited talk titled “Microbial Intervention to Promote Fertilizer Use Efficiency for Ensuring Food Security.” Dr. Hussain’s presentation highlighted the critical role of microbial interventions in enhancing fertilizer use efficiency, which is essential for ensuring food security.
