Islamabad (Khyber Mail): A team from the Federal Ombudsman, led by Senior Advisor Mr. Syed Asif Shah and Grievances Commissioner Dr. Inam Ul Haq Javeid, conducted an inspection at Islamabad International Airport (IIAP) to evaluate the facilities and services provided to passengers, especially overseas Pakistanis.
The team toured key areas, including international and domestic departure and arrival zones, and interacted with immigration personnel. They assessed the Customs information desk, screens, signage, ASF baggage hold, joint search area, and One Window Facilitation Desk (OWFD) operations. The team also engaged with passengers, expressing satisfaction with the services and processes at IIAP.
Additionally, they visited the CIPs and Serena lounges, where they praised the complimentary Lipton tea service, massage chairs, and children’s play area. The visit concluded with commendations for the airport management.
