Swabi (Khyber Mail): Gajju Khan Medical College (GKMC), a Medical Teaching Institute of Bacha Khan Medical Complex (BKMC-MTI), Swabi, has once again proven its academic excellence by achieving a 100% pass rate in the Khyber Medical University (KMU) Annual MBBS Final Year Examination. This marks the fourth consecutive year of exceptional performance by GKMC students.
In addition to maintaining their flawless pass rate, GKMC students secured three positions among the top 10 in KMU. Muhammad Junaid Khan secured 5th position with 1063 marks, Irum Shehzadi achieved 7th position with 1060 marks, and Shabina Naza claimed 9th position with 1054 marks. All 56 students who appeared in the examination were declared successful.
Prof. Dr. Shams-Ur-Rehman, Dean and CEO of GKMC, congratulated the students, faculty, and parents on this outstanding achievement. He emphasized that this consistent success reflects the dedication and hard work of the students, faculty, and management. He also highlighted GKMC’s unique distinction as the only medical college in the province to achieve a 100% pass rate for four consecutive sessions.
Dr. Shams-Ur-Rehman further shared that construction work for GKMC’s purpose-built building is progressing rapidly. He expressed optimism that the new campus will soon provide an enhanced academic environment for students, contributing further to their success.
