Islamabad (Agencies): The Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) has announced a power suspension program for Saturday, affecting various areas across its operational region due to essential maintenance and development work.

According to an IESCO spokesperson, power supply will remain suspended from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM in several areas of Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Attock, Jhelum, and Chakwal. Key affected locations include CDA Flats, Pak Chahana, Iqbal Town, Shifa Hospital, Police Line, Shahdara, National Market, Dhok Khaba, Industrial Area, Perwadhai, Gulzar Shaheed, RCCI, Wahdat Colony, Haro, Ghorghashti, Fatehpur, and Main Bazar, among others.

The suspension will impact feeders and grid stations across multiple circles, including Islamabad Circle, Rawalpindi City and Cantt Circles, Attock Circle, Jhelum Circle, and Chakwal Circle.

IESCO urged residents and businesses in the affected areas to plan accordingly and apologized for the inconvenience, assuring that the maintenance is crucial for ensuring a more stable and efficient power supply in the future.
