KARAK (Khyber Mail): Khushal Khan Khattak University Karak (KKKUK) today held a solemn “Gratitude Day” ceremony to pay tribute to the valiant Pakistan Armed Forces and acknowledge their successful military operation Buny?nun Mars?s. Organized under the special directive of Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Muhammad Tahir Khalily, the event saw enthusiastic participation from students, faculty, and administrative staff, all united in expressing their solidarity and appreciation for the military’s sacrifices.
Distinguished university officials graced the occasion, including Registrar Dr. Ghani Ur Rehman, Controller of Examinations Muhammad Rahim, Director ORIC Dr. Muhammad Zubair, Director Administration Dr. Rafi Ullah Khan, and Director Academic and Research Dr. Fasih ur Rehman, along with Provost Dr. Shad Muhammad and other notable figures.
Addressing the gathering, Director ORIC Dr. Muhammad Zubair praised the Pakistan Armed Forces for their unmatched bravery and unwavering resolve in defending the nation. The event culminated in a symbolic Solidarity Walk, where students, faculty, and university officials marched with national flags and placards displaying messages of unity, patriotism, and support for the country’s defense. The walk, which began at the university ground and ended at the main video conference room, reflected the academic community’s collective appreciation for the armed forces.
The ceremony follows the successful execution of Operation Buny?nun Mars?s by the Pakistan Armed Forces on May 10, a decisive response to hostile aggression that sparked a nationwide wave of gratitude and unity. Khushal Khan Khattak University’s tribute stands as a testament to the enduring support and deep respect for the sacrifices made in safeguarding Pakistan’s sovereignty.
