Karak (Khyber Mail): Khushal Khan Khattak University Karak has initiated its Monsoon Tree Plantation Drive, spearheaded by Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Muhammad Naseer Ud Din. The event took place on the university’s main campus, marking a significant move towards environmental sustainability.
Prof. Dr. Muhammad Naseer Ud Din, along with Registrar Dr. Ghani Ur Rehman, other distinguished faculty members, and Focal Person PM Green Youth Movement Shad Muhammad, led the inauguration ceremony. During the event, the Vice Chancellor also inspected the newly constructed academic block, highlighting the importance of incorporating green practices into the university’s development.
In his address, Prof. Dr. Naseer Ud Din emphasized the critical need for tree plantation in today’s world. “Plantation is not just an activity; it’s a responsibility towards our future generations. Trees are vital for a sustainable environment, and it is imperative that we all contribute to this cause,” he stated.
The Vice Chancellor also discussed the upcoming academic session in the new building, underscoring the university’s commitment to providing a conducive learning environment. The new academic block, complemented by the ongoing tree plantation initiative, reflects the university’s dedication to both educational excellence and environmental stewardship.
