PESHAWAR: Pakistan Tehreeke-e-Insaf (PTI) parliamentary party on Saturday authorized PTI chief Imran Khan to dissolve the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly.
PTI’s parliamentary party meeting was held in Peshawar, in which KP Chief Minister Mahmood Khan also participated. During the meeting, the party members, while reiterating their call to support the former premier’s decision to exit all Assemblies said that the KP Assembly belongs to Imran Khan, adding that all the lawmakers have also begun the preparations for new elections. Also, CM Mahmood Khan said that “I will leave the CMship within a minute if Imran Khan orders.”
Meanwhile, CM KP Mahmood Khan has said that Chairman Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf is the last hope for the people of Pakistan and the entire nation stands by him in his struggle for real independence of the motherland. The Parliamentary Party of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is waiting for the signal from Imran Khan regarding the dissolution of the Assembly, adding that when the green signal from the Party Chairman is received, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly will be dissolved on the same day.
He expressed these views while addressing the Parliamentary Party meeting of PTI held on Saturday. PTI chairman Imran Khan chaired the meeting and addressed the participants via video link.
The Chief Minister thanked the Party Chairman Imran Khan for chairing the Parliamentary Party meeting and said that members of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly are ready for the next elections and firmly stand by the Party Chief for the real independence of the country. Mahmood Khan maintained that Parliamentarians from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will not hesitate from any sacrifice for the true independence and prosperity of the nation.
