KOHAT (Khyber Mail): In a spirited ceremony marking Independence Day, the Vice-Chancellor of Kohat University of Science and Technology (KUST), Professor Dr. Muhammad Naseer-ud-Din, emphasized the importance of honoring the sacrifices of our forefathers.
Addressing the gathering, he urged everyone to contribute to the nation’s development and to focus on educating future generations in science and technology to ensure the country’s progress on the global stage.
The event commenced with a flag-hoisting ceremony led by Professor Dr. Muhammad Naseer-ud-Din. He was joined by KUST Registrar Dr. Imran Ali, Dr. Zeeshan Bangash, and Dr. Jan Alam. The ceremony featured students performing national songs and delivering speeches, showcasing their patriotic spirit.
In recognition of their outstanding performances, Professor Dr. Muhammad Naseer-ud-Din distributed shields and certificates to the students. The event was organized by the Office of Extracurricular Activities, highlighting the university’s commitment to fostering a sense of national pride and academic excellence among its students.
