LAHORE (Staff Report): Lt Gen Fayyaz Hussain Shah has been appointed new Corps Commander Lahore.
Former Commander IV Corps Commander Lahore has been removed from Army’s command for disobeying orders. Apparently, he did not resist protesters as per orders by higher command (COAS). Many officers refused orders from Junta’s top commanders to use force against protesters. That’s why we didn’t see much resistance from Army troops in many regions.
Many more changes are expected in coming hours.
