Malakand (Khyber Mail): Madam Eiman, a Lecturer in the Department of Mathematics, University of Malakand, has successfully defended her PhD thesis titled “Fractional Order Mathematical Models of Epidemiology: Theoretical and Computational Analysis.” Her research, supervised by Dr. Kamal Shah and Dr. Muhammad Sarwar, has been recognized for its significant contribution to the field of mathematics.
Her PhD public defense was conducted by Prof. Dr. Muhammad Adil Khan (Chairman, Department of Mathematics, University of Peshawar) and Prof. Dr. Nasir Rehman (Department of Mathematics, Allama Iqbal Open University, Islamabad), who served as external examiners. They commended her work and its impact on mathematical epidemiology.
The achievement was also acknowledged by Prof. Dr. Imtiaz Ahmad, Chairman of the Department of Mathematics, University of Malakand, who praised Madam Eiman for her exceptional research contributions.
