The operation also extended to other areas such as Liaquat Bazaar, Chowk Fawara, and Tipu Sultan Road, with heavy police presence deployed during the operation. A team of forty Cantonment Board personnel, led by Cantonment Board Enforcement Superintendent Raja Yasir Janjua, participated in the operation.
According to Executive Officer Chaudhry Babar Hussain, shopkeepers and vendors in Saddar Bazaar had been repeatedly instructed to remove illegal encroachments and clear the pathways.
