GILGIT, Oct 21 (APP): Gilgit-Baltistan Rural Support Programme on behalf of the Government of Gilgit Baltistan here on Friday signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Pakistan National Commission for UNESCO (PNCU), Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training, Islamabad to rehabilitate 09 flood-damaged schools in Diamer district of Gilgit-Baltistan.
The assistance will include rehabilitation work of damaged infrastructure, provision of solar panels, sanitary facilities, and setting-up of libraries. GBRSP will receive USD 50,000 from UNESCO for carrying-out this assignment.
