Malakand (Khyber Mail): Naeem Zad Gul, an MPhil scholar from the Department of Mathematics at the University of Malakand, has successfully defended his thesis titled “Mathematical Modeling and Analysis of Monkeypox Virus Infection under Isolation Strategies.” The research earned praise from faculty members and external examiners for its innovative approach and practical implications.
Guided by Associate Professor Dr. Imtiaz Ahmad, the study explored mathematical models to analyze the dynamics of Monkeypox virus infections and the impact of isolation strategies in mitigating its spread. The external examiner, Dr. Sehra, Assistant Professor at Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Women University Peshawar, commended the work for its depth and relevance in addressing a significant public health challenge.
