Dubai, UAE (Khyber Mail): Pakistan’s First Lady and Member of the National Assembly, Asifa Bhutto Zardari, participated in the Global Women’s Forum held in Dubai on November 26, 2024. The forum was organized by the Dubai Women’s Establishment.
The inaugural session of the forum was attended by UAE Vice President and Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Turkey’s First Lady Emine Erdogan, and the Philippines’ First Lady Louise Araneta Marcos. The event attracted over 6,000 dignitaries and advocates for women’s empowerment and gender balance.
Asifa Bhutto Zardari took part in a panel discussion where she highlighted the positive role of women in Pakistan. On the sidelines of the forum, she met with Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairperson of Dubai Culture and Arts Authority and Member of the Dubai Executive Council.
During the two-day forum, Asifa Bhutto Zardari also held discussions with Mona Ghanem Al Marri, Chairperson of the Board and Managing Director of Dubai Women Establishment, emphasizing the importance of collaborative efforts in promoting gender equality and women’s empowerment.
