Peshawar (Khyber Mail): The Industrialists Association of Peshawar hosted an award ceremony at the Governor House, with the Governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Faisal Karim Kundi, attending as the chief guest.
The ceremony saw the presence of Ayub Zakori, President of the Industrialists Association, prominent industrialist Ghazanfar Bilour, senior politician Ghulam Ahmed Bilour, Senator Mohsin Aziz, and other notable industrialists and business personalities.
During the event, Governor Kundi presented awards to industrialists from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for their significant contributions to the industrial sector. The Governor congratulated the award recipients and the officials of the Industrialists Association of Peshawar.
Governor Kundi praised the Industrialists Association for its commendable role in the industrial development of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. He emphasized that the event at the Governor House recognized the continuous hard work, dedication, and services of the province’s industrialists.
Governor Kundi acknowledged the unique challenges faced by the industrial sector in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa compared to other regions of the country. He criticized the provincial government’s inadequate policies, which have resulted in the province lagging behind in industrial development and overall growth.
Governor Kundi stressed the importance of providing a conducive environment for the growth and investment in the industrial sector. He assured that the Governor House would continue to work closely with the industrialists.
Governor Kundi committed to discussing the business community’s issues with the Prime Minister. He highlighted the abundance of natural resources in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and the need for collaborative efforts for the province’s development.
He commended the services of individuals involved in the promotion of industry and business in the province despite challenging circumstances. Governor Kundi reiterated that the doors of the Governor House are always open to encourage and support individuals from all sectors of the province.
