Peshawar (Agencies): In a significant counter-terrorism operation, three suspected members of the Islamic State Khorasan Province (ISKP) were arrested in Peshawar. Among the arrested were two alleged suicide bombers apprehended in the Mattani area, and another individual suspected of planning a grenade attack at an undisclosed target.

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) led the operation, which successfully thwarted potential attacks in the region. The two suicide bombers were intercepted in Mattani, a locality known for its strategic importance in counter-terrorism efforts. The third suspect was detained while allegedly en route to execute a grenade attack.
