Islamabad (Adnan Hameed): U.S. Ambassador to Pakistan, Donald Blome, held a significant meeting today with Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Dar.

Key topics of the meeting included the ongoing protection of Afghan refugees and asylum seekers in the region, enhancing economic cooperation, and strengthening joint efforts in security and counterterrorism. Both sides reiterated their commitment to fostering regional cooperation, which remains a cornerstone of their bilateral relationship.

On this occasion, Ambassador Blome expressed his appreciation for the opportunity to engage in dialogue with Deputy Prime Minister Dar, especially as Pakistan prepares for its upcoming term as a non-permanent member of the United Nations Security Council.
