Peshawar (Khyber Mail): The University of Agriculture Peshawar (UAP) has conferred the esteemed Emeritus Status on Prof. (Rtd.) Dr. Muhammad Ibrahim Khattak, a distinguished academic and former Vice Chancellor of Khushal Khan Khattak University, Karak. The decision was approved during the 12th Senate meeting held on May 21, 2024, following the recommendation of the university’s 115th Syndicate.

This recognition is granted under Section 4(iii) of the UAP Professor Emeritus Statutes 2016, which honors retired faculty members who have demonstrated exceptional contributions to academia and higher education.

Dr. Khattak has a celebrated career as a scholar, researcher, and academic administrator. During his tenure as Vice Chancellor of Khushal Khan Khattak University, he played a pivotal role in the institution’s development and academic progress.
