Arshad Ali, Manson ul Haq, Arshad Khan and Farhan Khan completed MPhil in Mathematics.

The four MPhil scholars yesterday defended their individual thesis at the Department of Mathematics at the University of Malakand (UOM). The examiner’s reports revealed that these scholars have significantly contributed to their field of research. The scholar Mr. Arshad Ali,  successfully defended his MPhil thesis titled: A Mathematical Model of Maize Biomass and Fall Armyworm Interaction Using Atangana-Baleanu Fractional Operator. The thesis was supervised by Dr. Amanullah, Assistant Professor, UoM. The External Examiner was Dr. Asad Ali, Assistant Professor, Department of Mathematics, Hazara University Mansehra, KPK, Pakistan.

Mr. Mansoor Ul Haq, MPhil Scholar in the Department of Mathematics UoM has successfully defended his MPhil thesis titled: Study of Nonlinear Fuzzy Integro-differential Equations

under the same supervisor Dr. Amanullah.  The External Examiner was Dr. Asad Ali, Assistant Professor, Department of Mathematics, Hazara University Mansehra, KPK, Pakistan.

Moreover, the two other scholars completed their MPhil under the supervision of Dr. Muhammad Sarwar, Associate Professors in the same department. 

The scholar Mr. Arshad Khan, accomplished his thesis under the title: SOME FIXED POINT RESULTS IN USUAL AND VECTOR VALUED METRIC SPACES WITH APPLICATIONS and the scholar Mr Farhan Khan defended his thesis Titled: SOME FIXED POINT THEOREMS VIA CONTRACTION AND DISTANCE WITH APPLICATIONS. The external examiners were Dr Muhammad Adil, from the University of Peshawar, and Dr. Gauhar Ali from Islamia College University Peshawar. It is mentioned that the scholars also published several articles in reputed internal journals. The external examiners, the Chairman of the department, Dr Imtiaz Ahmed, and teachers appreciated the hard work of scholars and their supervisors. The scholars acknowledged the research activities at the department and thanked their teachers, management, fellows, and family members for their support to achieve this milestone.
