LONDON (Agencies): Rolls-Royce has secured a significant contract to supply 60 Trent 7000 engines for 30 Airbus A330-900neo aircraft ordered by Cathay Pacific. This deal includes a TotalCare service agreement covering maintenance and wing work.

Ewen McDonald, Chief Customer Officer for Rolls-Royce’s civil aerospace division, highlighted that this combination will reduce emissions by 14%. He emphasized the confidence shown in the Trent 7000/A330neo pairing, noting that Cathay Pacific will become the largest operator of Trent 7000 engines globally.

Cathay Pacific praised the aircraft and engine combination for offering excellent passenger comfort and improved fuel efficiency. Rolls-Royce is proud of the trust placed in them and looks forward to supporting these new aircraft as they enter service.
