SpaceX To Launch First West Coast Starlink Mission : Can It Bring Sonic Booms In California?

โ SpaceX has launched the Falcon 9 Rocket from the Space Launch Complex 4 East at Vandenberg Space Force on the 21st January 2026 and this rocket is launched to start the Starlink 17-30 mission. The mission is launched to send the satellites into a polar low Earth Orbit and it adds 2 starlink V2 mini optimized satellites for the companyโ€™s megaconstellation. This SpaceXโ€™s sixth starlink mission will be launched also this year. This west coast starlink mission started at 9:47:29 PM PST (12:47:29 AM EST).ย

SpaceX has launched this mission with the help of the Falcon 9 first stage booster with the tail number 1093. This was the 10th flight after launching two flights for the space agency and seventh batch of the starlink satellites. When the spacecraft had liftoff after eight minutes, B1093 landed on the drone ship positioned in the pacific ocean. This was the companyโ€™s 172nd landing on this vessel and 562th orbital booster of the spaceX.ย 

The SpaceX Falcon 9 is expected to launch from California on Wednesday evening, carrying up to 25 starlink satellites into orbit and it produced by the sonic booms across parts of the Central Coast. The Falcon 9 can bring the sonic booms in California across the central coast and the SpaceX officials have decided to launch through the Santa Barbara, San Luis Obispo and Ventura counties.ย
