Sana’a (Agencies): Unconfirmed reports have emerged of a fire breaking out on a US aircraft carrier after it was targeted by a large number of Yemeni missiles and drones in the Red Sea. The incident, which has yet to be verified by official sources, has raised concerns about the safety and security of naval operations in the region.

The Houthis, a Yemeni rebel group, claimed responsibility for the attack, stating that they launched multiple missiles and drones at the US vessel. However, the Pentagon has not confirmed any damage or fire on the aircraft carrier2. The US Central Command is currently investigating the reports and has not issued any official statement regarding the incident.

The situation remains tense as international observers closely monitor developments in the Red Sea. The US and its allies have been conducting operations in the region to protect shipping routes from Houthi attacks. The Houthis have been increasingly aggressive, targeting international vessels and military assets in response to ongoing conflicts in the Middle East.
