This article aims to explore the inclusion of gender rights and equality in the constitution of Pakistan and shed light on the ongoing efforts to achieve gender parity.
The constitution of Pakistan explicitly recognizes the principle of gender equality and prohibits discrimination based on gender. Article 25 of the Constitution guarantees equal rights and opportunities for all citizens, regardless of gender. Including these provisions reflects the commitment of the state to promote gender equality and empower women.

Article 14 ensures the dignity and security of all individuals, including protection against physical and psychological harm. While progress has been made, challenges persist, and it is crucial to continue working towards the full realization of gender equality.
