TEL AVIV (Agencies): An Iraqi militant group has come forward, alleging their involvement in a missile attack on the Mossad headquarters, Israel’s national intelligence agency, situated in Tel Aviv. The group’s claim of responsibility for the attack has yet to be independently verified.
The assault was executed using multiple Arqub-type cruise missiles, marking the first time the city of Tel Aviv has been targeted. The Islamic Resistance in Iraq has been claiming responsibility for numerous rocket and drone attacks on U.S. forces in Iraq and Syria, as well as targets in Israel, for over six months since the outbreak of the Israel-Hamas war on October 7.
Despite the claims made by the Iraqi armed groups, Israel has yet to make a public comment on the attacks. The Israeli authorities have not yet commented on the incident, and it remains uncertain whether the alleged attack has resulted in any casualties or significant damage to the Mossad headquarters.
