ISLAMABAD (Agencies): Rahmat Hindiarta Kusuma, the Charge’D Affaires of the Indonesian Embassy in Pakistan, emphasized the significant role Balochistan can play in enhancing bilateral economic and trade relations between Indonesia and Pakistan.

During discussions with a business delegation from Baluchistan, including former President of the Federation of Pakistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Rahmat highlighted the untapped potential in trade between the two countries. He suggested that Baluchistan’s business community could contribute to integrating Indonesia with Central Asian states.

Furthermore, Rahmat envisioned Pakistan as a future trade hub for Indonesia in Central Asia, emphasizing the importance of sector diversification and people-to-people relations.

Engineer Duro Khan, former president of the Federation of Pakistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, echoed this sentiment, emphasizing the significance of Central Asian markets and suggesting participation in the Industrial and Trade Exhibition in Jakarta later this year.
