Islamabad (Adnan Hameed): The Romanian Embassy in Pakistan commemorated the 105th National Day of Romania in a distinguished ceremony held at a local hotel in Islamabad. The event brought together diplomats, charge de-affairs, and representatives from international organizations, showcasing the enduring and robust relations between Pakistan and Romania.

Special Assistant to the Prime Minister of Pakistan for Overseas Pakistanis & Human Resource Development, Jawad Sohrab Malik, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest, actively participating in the ceremonial cake-cutting.

Romanian Ambassador to Pakistan, Eduard-Robert PREDA, expressed satisfaction with the current strong ties between the two nations, spanning trade, investments, technology, and various collaborative areas. Ambassador PREDA highlighted the notable growth in economic and trade volumes, emphasizing the potential for further expansion across diverse fields.

During his address, Ambassador PREDA affirmed Romania’s commitment to deepening relations with Pakistan across various sectors, expressing eagerness to explore collaboration opportunities in the agriculture sector.

The National Day of Romania holds profound significance, marking the historic events of December 1st, 1918, a pivotal moment symbolizing national accomplishments and unity in Romanian history.
