HARIPUR-PK (Khyber Mail): In a significant step towards digital transformation, BRAINS Institute achieved another milestone by establishing a Cisco Networking Academy at the University of Haripur. The inauguration ceremony of the Cisco International Networking Academy took place at the office of the University of Haripur and was attended by delegates and professionals from various fields.
The Cisco Academy Support & Instructor’s Training Centre, based at BRAINS Institute Peshawar, has been instrumental in strengthening existing Cisco Networking Academies and establishing new ones across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. The launch of the Cisco International Networking Academy at the University of Haripur was graced by the inspiring presence of Prof. Dr. Shafique ur Rehman, Vice Chancellor of the University of Haripur, along with Prof. Dr. Mukhtar Khan and Prof. Dr. Riaz Khan, as well as numerous delegates and professionals from diverse backgrounds.
Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Mr. Zafar Ullah Khan, Rector of BRAINS Institute and CEO of Cisco ASC/ITC, emphasized the significance of digital literacy in today’s world. He highlighted that digital transformation is essential for all organizations, from micro-businesses to large enterprises, to compete on a global level. He also commended the Higher Education Commission (HEC) for supporting initiatives that promote innovative IT technologies in Pakistan.
The establishment of the Cisco International Academy Support Centre is expected to provide a plethora of opportunities for educational institutions, including schools, colleges, and universities, both in the public and private sectors. This collaboration between Cisco International and BRAINS Institute aims to equip the youth and students with the latest knowledge and skills to succeed in the digital age.
BRAINSTEC (BRAINS Technology Enterprise Center) is a pioneering initiative of BRAINS Institute, dedicated to imparting education, training, and research services in emerging hi-tech fields.
