ISLAMABAD (Agencies): The government has decided to maintain the current price of petrol at Rs 262 per liter for the next fifteen days, according to Federal Minister for Finance and Revenue, Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar.

However, the price of diesel has been increased by Rs 7.5 per liter due to the rising costs of petroleum products in the international market over the past few days. The new diesel price will be Rs 260.5 per liter, compared to the previous price of Rs 253 per liter.

The minister stated that the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) made efforts to minimize the impact of rising prices on the general public.
