PESHAWAR (Staff Report): An open house Ph.D thesis defense Examination of Engr. Atif Sardar, Department of Mechatronics Engineering, UET Peshawar was successfully held at the Video Conference Hall, UET Peshawar here today.
The research topic of Engr. Atif was “Energy harvesting for wearable devices” supervised by Prof. Dr. Farid Khan, Department of Mechatronics Engineering, UET Peshawar. His Research Evaluation Committee (REC) included Engr. Maqsood Jan Chief Manager, National Development Complex (NDC), Islamabad, Dr. M. Irfan Khattak, Associate Prof. Department of Electrical Engineering, UET Peshawar, Dr. Shahzad Anwar, Associate Prof. Department of Mechatronics Engineering, UET Peshawar and Dr. Riaz Muhammad, Associate Prof. Department of Mechanical Engineering, CECOS University, Peshawar. Engr. Atif Sardar is serving as Lecturer at Center for Advanced Studies in Energy, UET Peshawar. So far, he has published five (05) research papers in national and international reputed journals.
Prof. Dr. Sahar Noor, Dean Faculty of Mechanical, Chemical and Industrial (MCI) Engineering UET Peshawar who were present on the occasion congratulated the scholar and his supervisor for successful completion of thesis and appreciated the research work carried out by Engr. Atif Sardar. He proposed the commercialization of the product as a need of the country.
