Islamabad (Khyber Mail): As winter embraces us, Nihao! China 2024 China Ice & Snow Tourism Overseas Promotion Season has been officially launched in Pakistan. The initiative is a collaborative effort between the China Cultural Center in Pakistan, the Culture Office of the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Pakistan, and the Network of International Cultural Link Entities
Additionally, support is extended by the cultural and tourism departments (bureaus) from Beijing, Tianjin, Heilongjiang, Jilin, Liaoning, Hebei, Shanxi, Xinjiang, and Inner Mongolia.
Commencing in December 2023 and continuing until the end of January 2024, this exciting event features a diverse array of promotional content, including videos, documentaries, and exhibitions. The China Cultural Center in Pakistan will broadcast these materials on its official Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/cccenterinpak), Official WeChat Account, Twitter Account of Cultural Counselor, and the Center’s Director H.E Zhang Heqing (https://twitter.com/zhang_heqing), among other platforms.
The Ice and Snow promotional season aims to showcase China’s national tourist image, highlighting the unique ice and snow cultural treasures from various regions. Xinjiang, Liaoning, and Heilongjiang Overseas Promotion Week will include themed videos and exhibitions, emphasizing their distinctive ice and snow resources and culture. Additionally, provinces such as Beijing, Tianjin, Hebei, Shanxi, Inner Mongolia, and Jilin will contribute to this vibrant Ice and Snow Promotion Season.
Under the theme “Building Dreams in Ice and Snow,” the activities embody the development concept of “Ice and Snow, Golden and Silver Mountains.” Leveraging the cool resources of ice and snow to boost the cultural and tourism economy, this initiative capitalizes on China’s unique strengths in these areas. It promotes China’s distinctive ice and snow tourism abroad, fostering cultural exchange and supporting high-quality, environmentally friendly development.
These engaging activities aim to deepen the appreciation of China’s ice and snow culture and tourism among Pakistani audiences and global netizens.
