PESHAWAR (Faiq Ali Shah): The Illuminate Impact Foundation, in collaboration with Pakistan Youth Change Advocates, successfully organised an enlightening orientation session on the impact of trans fatty acids in dietary products.
The session was held at the Department of Journalism, University of Peshawar, to raise awareness about the health implications associated with the consumption of trans fatty acids.
The event was part of the Transform Pakistan Campaign, which focuses on the regulation of trans fatty acids in dietary products for a better and healthier Pakistan. The campaign is sponsored by Pakistan Youth Change Advocates. Illuminate Impact Foundation has signed pledges from the students who participated with great enthusiasm and witnessed an enlightening session on the regulation of dietary products.
Distinguished speakers shed light on the significance of understanding and addressing the presence of trans fatty acids in our daily diets. Miss Shughla, a renowned nutrition expert, emphasized the importance of informed dietary choices in promoting public health. The session provided valuable insights into identifying and mitigating the risks associated with trans fatty acids, contributing to the overall well-being of individuals.
