KARAK (Khyber Mail): The Department of Zoology at Khushal Khan Khattak University (KKKUK) in Karak hosted a Research Models and Poster Exhibition on Thursday, showcasing the academic inquiry and innovation of its students and faculty members. The event was inaugurated by the University’s Registrar, Dr. Rafi Ullah Khan, who highlighted the significance of the exhibition in both academic and community spheres.
The exhibition brought together students and faculty members to display their research models, posters, and projects. “This exhibition is a celebration of academic inquiry and innovation,” remarked Dr. Abdul Aziz, Head of the Department of Zoology. He emphasized that the exhibition underscores the passion and dedication of the students and faculty members in advancing the field of zoology.
Ms. Sadia Norin and Ms. Zuhra Saif Ullah, both lecturers in Zoology and key organizers of the exhibition, echoed Dr. Aziz’s sentiments. They stressed the importance of providing students with a professional platform to present their ideas and work.
Organized in collaboration with the Office of Research, Innovation, and Commercialization (ORIC), the exhibition demonstrates the university’s commitment to fostering interdisciplinary collaboration. The event, which was attended by students, faculty members, administration, and the community, also offered various medical tests, including blood grouping and sugar tests.
