PESHAWAR (Khyber Mal): Major General Agha Masood Akram, Hilal-i-Imtiaz (Military), Retired, Director General of the Army Institute of Military History (AIMH), Rawalpindi, engaged in a productive interactive session during his visit to the Area Study Centre (Russia, China, and Central Asia) at the University of Peshawar.

The visit commenced with a warm welcome by Prof. Dr. Muhammad Naeem Qazi, the Dean/Director of the Area Study Centre, who provided a brief introduction to the Centre’s academic endeavors. The session proved to be highly beneficial as Major General Agha Masood Akram expressed a keen interest in fostering collaboration between the AIMH and the Area Study Centre, particularly in the realms of research.

The Director General acknowledged the importance of strengthening ties between the two institutions and proposed joint initiatives, including conferences, seminars, workshops, and round table discussions. Emphasizing the exchange of information and support for common research objectives, the collaboration aims to mutually benefit both institutions.
