PESHAWAR (Khyber Mail): A massive fire erupted in the wee hours of Monday at TIMES CENTER mobile market situated in Peshawar’s Saddar area. Fortunately, no casualties have been reported so far.
Rescue officials stated that the fire, which originated on the fourth floor of the building, rapidly spread to the other floors. This caused a wave of panic among the shopkeepers and customers, as reported by private news channels.
The rescue operation involved more than 30 fire brigade vehicles and four water bowsers. The fire, which has been classified as a third-stage fire, is currently being extinguished by teams from the Pakistan Army, Air Force, and Cantonment Board. Rescue 1122 teams have successfully rescued four individuals.
In response to the incident, the district administration has initiated an investigation.
