PESHAWAR (Agencies): In a significant operation conducted by the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) in the Composite Circle of Mardan, a notorious human trafficker named Sikandar Zaman was apprehended on Saturday.
The FIA spokesperson reported that the suspect was detained from Bari Cham Mardan during a raid. The accused, who worked as a job agent, was implicated in heavy extortion activities. He defrauded numerous citizens of millions of rupees by falsely promising employment opportunities in Dubai, Saudi Arabia, and other locations.
From 2018 to 2024, several cases and inquiries were lodged against the accused, totaling 11 registered cases. Since 2018, the accused has been on the wanted list of the FIA Composite Circle Mardan.
After receiving the money, the accused went into hiding. He has now been arrested, and an investigation has been initiated.
